Vampires in the Sun is an independent film development and production company that cultivates a sense of global community. We strive to sustain real artists everywhere and connect them with their audiences.

Based in the UK, with roots in Transylvania and an active presence in London and Bucharest, the company works internationally with U.S. partners for representation and relies primarily on a mix of EU- and UK-based financing to support development, production and audience reach.

Founded by two longtime business partners, Georgi Maliovski and Ben Tisch, our company focuses on story, audience, and talent development, with a clear goal of securing the right partners for the right idea, while adapting our producing role along the way.

We work on specialised films, partially funded by prestige grants, and we coordinate a slate of projects in paid development, championing international stories and deeply authentic voices.

Our current development slate explores the interplay between memory and place, ecology, diversity, and a sense of belonging.
